Hello, mister Roboticus!
My name is rap legend Jesse Dangerously. A long time ago, you furnished some truly vicious beats to a project my old friend Eugene Anh made as Adam WarRock.
Do you remember this one, with Tribe One?

In around 2012, I went on tour with Eugene's crew, No Friends. As part of our gas money raising effort, we made a mixtape where we all jacked one another's beats and made new songs on them. I don't know if you ever heard it, but I made this using that beat: [link to 2012 recording]
I performed it live on that tour and a few times since, but since it was never really MY song, I never did anything else with it. It kinda languishes on that obscure mixtape.
These days, I don't really tour anymore and I'm kind of off making albums. But I still try to drop a song every month on streaming services. Sometimes it's brand new, sometimes it's polishing off old stuff I started and accidentally abandoned.
I wanted to reach out to see what you think about this track, and specifically the following:
Eugene once said as far as he was concerned I could use the beat but he couldn't speak for you. Would you object to a polished up version of this track being released to streaming services with my vocals and your beat?
Or would you prefer I don't do anything with it?
Any response is well within your rights!
Thanks any which way, hope you're well.

Hi rap legend Jesse,
Thanks for reaching out.
I am cool with you using the beat for your own track / release.
Feel free to send a link to the release, once it’s out!
Cheers,
[the real name of Ruckus Roboticus]
